Preserving Carter Bay's environment will remain a priority as development continues on this vacation community. We will be setting the example for all new buyers in Carter Bay by being an environmentally responsible company. And we will encourage all new buyers to utilize the environmental technologies available in the home and cottage industry.

Our company will continue to undertake the following environmentally responsible actions:

• Developing with larger lot sizes (minimum 2 acres) to minimize development
• Reserving large land areas as untouched wilderness
• Continued protection of the rare and sensitive sand dune formations
• Minimizing tree cutting and selectively choosing trees that are cut
• Working with universities and naturalist groups to research and monitor Carter Bay's wildlife
• Informing new buyers about environmentally friendly home building products
• Preserving and promoting natural habitats for animals
• Providing alternative energy sources including solar and wind power
